What is a Giclée Print?

A Giclée (pronounced “zhee-clay”) print is an individually produced digital print which retains the texture, richness and vibrancy of colour that is found in original artwork, and is probably more likely than any other kind of print to be mistaken for an original.

The leading digital printers Canon, Epson, etc all produce high specification printers and a Giclée print is produced digitally using light fast ink on archival quality, acid-free Art paper.

The ink I use is Epson ultrachrome K3 pigmented archival ink, which has been laboratory tested for fade resistance, in age accelerated conditions, and is guaranteed 100+ years fade resistant.
